Mrs. W.E. Smith, 41, died at her home in Florida Friday according to telegrams to local relatives.
The body will be brought here and the funeral arrangements will be announced later.
Mr. Smith was once connected with the Smith Furniture Company in Alabama City and is well known there.
Surviving are the husband; one daughter, Mrs. Hazel McDonald; four brothers, Bill Westmoreland, Tom Westmoreland, Jim Westmoreland and John Westmoreland, and one sister, Mrs. Trouse Fuller, of Gadsden.

Funeral services for Mrs. W.E. Smith, who died Friday morning at High Springs, Fla. will be held at the Eleventh Street Methodist Church here Sunday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock.
The burial will follow at Forrest cemetery.
The pallbearers will be brothers-in-law of the deceased: T.J. Smith, W.T. Fuller, R.M. Smith, R.F. Burt, A.N. McElroy and John T. Smith.
Mrs. Smith was a resident of Gadsden for 20 years, moving to Florida in 1924.
