Mr. Hembree died at the home of a brother, S.H. Hembree in the Riverside community. He was laid to rest beside his parents.
He came to Foard County, Texas in 1908 with his parents and the family settled near Crowell. He had never married and since the death of his mother, he made his home with his brothers. He had returned from Dimmitt on 29 April 1939.
Mr. Hembree was converted and joined the Methodist Church at the age of 12. He was a member of the Margaret Methodist Church.
Survived by two brothers - W.S. Hembree and S.H. Hembree; two sisters - Mrs. Harry Newth and Mrs. Lon Goodman.
