Son of John Valentine and Mary Turney Beeler. Came with family to the frontier of North Carolina Territory in April 1770. Lived on plantation "Sapling Grove".
Served in North Carolina Troops, Militia. File for War of the Revolution Grant to Officers and Soldiers not of the Continental Line of North Carolina, No. 93, 200 acres on Beaver Creek, north of the Holston River, 23 October 1782. Brother of Joseph Beeler 1762-1845, Ulrich Beeler 1764-1805, Jacob Beeler 1761-1842
