Mrs. Sophia Kruger died Tuesday morning at 6 o'clock, after almost two years' suffering from [hole in paper] of the spine cord. Her sickness started with inflammation of the stomach and finally ran into the disease that caused her death. Her sufferings were intense and for the past years she had been as helpless as a little child from paralysis. A husband and five sons are left who have the sympathy of everyone. The funeral was held this afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Presbyterian church, conducted by Rev. Guy Simon. Interment was in the Winamac cemetery.
