Allen J. Kool, 79, passed away Saturday at the University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics in Iowa City. Allen is survived by his wife, Darlene D. (Van Der Pol) Kool; three sons and their wives: Randy and Cindy Kool of Adel, Ronald and Sheryl Kool of Davenport, Russell and Cheryl Kool of Plano, TX; ten grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild; and his brother, Junior Kool and his wife, Beverly, of Eureka, IL.
Funeral Services will be held Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at First Baptist Church, Pella. Visitation will begin after noon on Wednesday at the church where family will be present Wednesday from 5 to 8 p.m.
