Phyllis Ferguson, 86, formerly of Manlius, passed away Saturday at the Chittenango Center. Born in Cicero, Phyllis was a longtime resident of the Manlius area prior to moving to Chittenango. She was a longtime and faithful member of the Manlius United Methodist Church. Surviving are her husband of 66 years, James E. Ferguson; her sons, James Jr. of Chittenango, Richard of Eastwood, Perry (Roxanne) of Richland and Gary (Peggy) of Holland Patent; her daughters, Vicky Ferguson (Brian) and Laurie Hence, all of Chittenango; her brother, Paul Brooks of Georgia; her sister, Paula Wittwer of Manlius; 15 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at the G.F. Zimmer Funeral Home, 702 Legion Drive, Chittenango. Burial will follow in White Chapel Memory Gardens, DeWitt. Calling hours will be 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Contributions in her memory may be made to the Manlius United Methodist Church, 111 Wesley St., Manlius, NY 13104.
