Ada Hoover Felder Asher died Friday, Nov 6, 1992, at her residence in Hammond. She was 77, a resident of Hammond and a native of the Ponchatoula and Hammond area.

Survived by husband, George Matt Asher, Hammond; a step-son, Jim Asher, Louisville, Ky.; two sisters, Margie Hyde McWilliams and Eula Mae Kennedy Selleck, both of Baton Rouge; a brother, Edwin L. Hoover, Sr., Robert; nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by first husband, Rufus G. Felder; parents, Francois Alonzo and Cecile Adele Ballam Hoover; five sisters, Orastien Marie Hoover, Zelma Elizabeth Griffin, Lily Marie Robison, Stella Mary Willoughby and Thelma Marie Bebeau; and three brothers, Hilton J. Hoover Sr., Leon J. Hoover and Will Ed "Allen" Hoover.
