He was born June 29, 1953, in Jefferson City, the son of the late Gilbert Albert and Helen Margaret (Zey) Bax.
Dennis worked for ABB as a welder. He was a member of the National Rifle Association.
Survivors include: four siblings, and several nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by a brother, Robert Bax.
