Norman Bjelland was born in Fosston, MN on July 19, 1921 and died in Burien, WA on October 30, 2005. He was an avid hunter and fisherman all of his life. He served as President of the Highline Sportsman’s Club for ten years and was a founding member & club historian for the Western WA Walleye Club. He was active in Boeing Rod & Reel and Trout Unlimited. Served in the US Army at Adak, AK. Norm worked at Boeing for 40 years, 20 years of which he was in management. Norm is survived by his wife of 20 years, Alice, children, 12 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, sisters Adeline Butzer, Dorothy Lee, Carol Brown, 12 nieces and nephews and countless cherished friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Carl and Trine Bjelland, daughter Karen, and son David.
