Sherman, Fayette - [from Elm Springs] A telegram Monday morning conveyed the sad intelligence of the death from typhoid fever of Fayette Sherman at McCauley, Texas. His family and his brother Walter were with him in his last hours. B. J. Deaver left for Texas Saturday night, but probably did not arrive before his death. The body will be brought to Elm Springs for interment. Fayette was born and raised at this place and only moved to Texas a few months ago. His wife, who was formerly Miss Maud Deaver, is left with three small children. He also leaves a mother, several brothers and sisters and numerous relatives and friends who mourn his untimely death.
