Renee Betty Tracy

After a battle with cancer Renee Betty Tracy passed away in her home surrounded by her family Sunday June 21, 2009. Born in Payette, Idaho on March 2, 1944 to Lloyd and Arvilla Snead she was the second of three daughters. Renee grew up in Idaho and graduated from Borah High School and went on to attend Brigham Young University.

She dedicated her life to raising her children and others in a daycare in her home. Renee adored children and was a devoted mother and grandmother. She served faithfully in the LDS church as Relief Society president, Stake Young Women's President, as well as many other callings. She loved attending BYU football games and hosting family gatherings. On June 14, 1991 Renee married Roger Tracy in the Jordan River Temple. Renee enjoyed being a temple worker in the Mt. Timpanogos Temple for the past 12 1/2 years.

She is survived by her husband Roger Tracy and her 6 children Tiffany (Carey) Moore, Gretchen (Owen) Nuttall, David (Tawnya) Bearss, Natalie (Tory) Brooks, Rebecca (Stephen) Buhler, Jared (Nicole) Bearss; and the 8 Tracy children Alexis (Clint) Coleman, Nanette (Jim) Ockler, Scott (Tammy), Stuart (Joette), Chantel (Scott) Jensen, Monnae (Brian) Markham, Sean (Liz), and Jenae Boyer; 62 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild and her two sisters Donna Doman and Peggy Miller.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 27, 2009 at 11:00 am in the North Alpine Highway Chapel 11200 North Alpine Hwy. There will be a viewing at the same chapel Friday night June 26 from 6-8 pm and also an hour prior to the funeral. Interment, Highland City Cemetery.
