Mrs. Betty Lou "Becky" Sivils, 57, of Crossett, who was born December 4, 1946 in De Valls Bluff, died Saturday, March 13, 2004, at her residence in Crossett. A resident of the Crossett area for many years and a homemaker, she attended the First Freewill Baptist Church in North Crossett.

She is survived by one son, Tommy D. Sivils, Jr., of Wilmot; four daughters, Tammy J. Patterson and Angela M. Washington of Rockledge, FL, Mary G. Tyler of Crossett and Shari L. Sivils of Leoti, KS; her mother, Dema Marie Washam of Rison; three brothers, Robert Washam of Merritt Island, FL, Richard Washam of Crossett and Ricky Washam of Russellville three sisters, Doris Coleman of Quitman, LA, Helen Furr of Fort Smith, and Kathy Watt of Rison; twelve grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Tommy Dean Sivils, Sr., in 1997; her father, Garland Washam; and one brother, Buddy Washam.

Funeral services were at 3 p.m., Monday, March 15, at the First Freewill Baptist Church in North Crossett with the Revs. Blaine Beck and Gene Cullum officiating. Pallbearers were Keith, Jeremy, Charlie and Alan Watt, John Tyler and Wayne Pennington. Burial followed services in the Pinewood Memorial Park under the direction of Jones-Hartshorn Funeral Home of Hamburg.
