This lovely person is my precious Grandma, Bernice McDonald Burgess! She was married to Chalmer Layfette Burgess & they had nine children: My mother, Delois (Sissy); Joyce (Sue); Charles (Sunny), deceased; Dorothy (Dot), deceased; Peggy (Peg); Dennis (Denny), Jimmy (Jim), Linda, & Wanda. She had a face of an angel & she touched everyone she meet with her sincerity & humbleness she had about her. She was the definition of a loving "christian lady" in everyway! She is greatly loved, respected & missed by her loved ones & many more! Poem:THROUGHOUT ETERNITY! You are the sweetest, dearest Grandma that ever there could be!! Everyday that passes, I wish you were here with me! Your smile was that of an angel & your touch was filled with so much love; I know you continue watching over us from there up above. So, today I'd like to tell you how much that I miss you; your love was the greatest that I ever knew! I'll never forget your kind & gentle heart; to express my love for you, I'd not even know where to start! My heart feels so empty, my days are filled with gloom; sadness is all that fills each & every room! For you were the one that helt together our dear, beloved family; with you now gone my tears could fill the biggest of all the seas! My mind can't seem to adjust to what your death as done to me & I will continue mourning your death, my precious Grandma, throughout eternity! Written by, Your Loving GrandDaughter:
- Connie Jean
Added: May. 28, 2008 A SPECIAL THANKS TO GOD'S SPECIAL ANGELS FOR SPONSORING MY PRECIOUS GRANDMA'S MEMORIAL! I AM FOREVER GRATEFUL! MAY THE LORD BLESS HER & HER LOVED ONES EACH & EVERYDAY!
