Mr. Gregory Michael Ammons, 25, of Godwin near Williams Lake area died Saturday at his home. He was born May 16, 1985. He was preceded in death by grandparents, Theodore and Lillian Brewington, grandfather, Eddie Ammons and an uncle, Gregory Brewington.

A funeral service will be held Tuesday at 3 p.m. at Skinner & Smith Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Donald Carter. Burial will follow in Shiloh Church Cemetery.

He is survived by his mother, Catherine Brewington Ammons of Godwin; father, Keith Ammons of Seven Springs; two half-brothers, Jordan and Elijah Ammons of Seven Springs; grandmother, Hazel Ammons of Clinton; aunts, Gwen Brewington of Piney Green, Shelia Brewington, Pam Ammons, Elaine Simmons and Dale Ammons all of Clinton; uncles Teddy Brewington of Roseboro and Eugene Ammons of Clinton.
