Baton Rouge, Edith Pinnegar, 95 a lifetime resident of McCracken County died July 31, 2014 at Old Jefferson Community Care Center in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Mrs. Pinnegar was born July 3, 1919 in McCracken County and resided in Paducah for 91 years. She left the city in 2010 to be near her brother and his family. Mrs. Pinnegar was an active leader in the McCracken County community. She was the President of the Paducah Homemakers Club, President of the Paducah Chapter of the United Daughters of the Confederacy, a Duchess of Paducah, a Kentucky Colonel, and was a fifty year member and Past Matron of the Clara Henrich Chapter #424 Eastern Star. She was beloved by her family and had many friends in the Paducah area. She was a lifetime member of Broadway Church of Christ.

Mrs. Pinnegar was employed at Lourdes Hospital for thirty-seven years and retired as the director of medical records. Mrs. Pinnegar was an accredited records technician. Mrs. Pinnegar was preceded in death by her husband of forty-two years, Arlon Pinnegar, and her sister Wilma Fenwick. Mrs. Pinnegar is survived by her brother, A.D. Riley, and his wife Martha of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, her nephews, Greg Riley and his wife Paige of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Steve Fenwick and his wife Carole, and nieces Diane Fenwick of West Paducah and Mary Gayle Bowlin of Reidland, grand-nephews Chris Fenwick and his wife Kelly of Paducah, Patrick Riley of Baton Rouge, a grand-niece Brooke Riley, of Baton Rouge and great-grand nephews Jordan and Cooper Fenwick of Paducah.

Visitation will be at 10:00 am followed by a funeral service at 11:00 am on Wednesday August 6th at Milner and Orr Funeral Home of Paducah, Kentucky with Mr. Andrew Clausen officiating. Burial will be at Massac Cemetery.
