He was the son of Charlie A. and Daisy K. Boulton Allmon. He was a farmer and a veteran serving in the U.S. Army Second Infantry Division during the Invasion of Normandy in WWII. He received a Purple Heart for injuries received there. He attended the Gordonsville Church of the Nazarene. Survived by wife Mildred Malone Allmon, one daughter and one son and one granddaughter, 2 sisters and one brother.
