BIRTH PLACE:
Note: There is some dispute as to Jared's location of birth and death.
*2 Census show birth in Pennsylvania
*2 Census show birth in Ohio
*1 Census he lists birth as "Ohio, PA."

I am assuming when the census registrar came around that Jared may have told them, 'Ohio, PA' as a birthplace and the registrar just chose one “state” as a place of birth and is possibly why we see ambiguity over his state of birth.
After some research, there was a township in PA called ‘Ohioville’, in Beaver County (the next county over from Allegheny which use to encompass a part of Beaver County at one point) and an 'Ohio Township' in Allegheny County at the time of Jared's birth in 1819. It was suggested that 'Perrysville' was a place of birth too, which is East of Ohio Township (now Ross Twp) as well.

Without concrete evidence, I am hesitant to accept any suggestions…however in the totality of the evidence; I surmise that our Jared was born in "Ohioville Twp (Formerly called "Ohio Twp" in his day) in Beaver County (formerly a part of Allegheny County in his day), Pennsylvania."

~~About: Ohioville, Beaver County, PA. : Ohioville was originally Ohio Township, formed in 1805 (our Jared was born in 1819) from parts of South Beaver Township. The region had, in years past, been home to numerous tribes of Native Americans, most notably the Archaic and Woodland periods, of Iroquoian extraction.
~~About: Ohio Twp, Allegheny, PA.: Ohio Township was the third township to be formed in Allegheny County in September, 1803.
~~About: Perrysville, PA.: Now Ross Twp, east of Ohio/Ohioville.
