Doris owned and operated Doris Truck Stop near Eldon for 17 years. She moved to Eldon from Arkansas 45 years ago. She was a member of the Eldon Ninth Street Christian Church and the Auxiliary of VFW Post 2442.
Surviving her are her father of Sedalia; two sons, Eugene Denman and David Denman, both of Trona, Calif.; a daughter, Deloris H. Hubner of Eldon; and eight grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at Griswold-Kays Funeral Home with the Rev. Mike Dumler officiating. Burial was in the Eldon Cemetery.
