James Taylor Riley married first to Susan Lanham about 1784 in Surry County, North Carolina. They had two children.
James Taylor Riley married second to Martha "Patsy" Cass/Cast on February 25, 1789 in Surry County, North Carolina. They had ten children.
James Taylor Riley married third to Susan Mockabee/Mockerbee about 1816. They had one child.

NOTES:
If Susan Lanham Riley was alive and living with James Taylor Riley in Montgomery County, Maryland on October 15, 1791 when Mary Jones' Will was proved, then James Taylor Riley could not have married Martha "Patsy" Cast on February 25, 1789 in Surry County, North Carolina unless Mary Jones was not aware of Susan Lanham Riley's (possible/likely) death.
**Mary Jones was Susan Lanham Riley's great-aunt. See the Will abstract on Susan's memorial page.
