Obituary for Caleb A ( Uncle Dick ) Cummins

75, died Friday morning at the home of his daughter, Mrs Blanche Wyatt, after an illness of 10 days. He was united in marriage to Miss Nora Blanks, who preceded him in death 31 years ago. To this union 7 children were born, six of whom are still living. They are Mesdames Lydia Eidson, Elnora Crain and Melle Smith, all of Alton, IL: Ethel Bert (pug) Cummins, Mrs Gladys Pool and Blanch Wyatt, all of Barlow Nineteen grandchildren and one brother. D J Cummins, of Los Angeles, CA also survive.
Funeral services were held at the Barlow Methodists Church with Rev L L Jones officiating. Burial was in the Family burial ground.
