Flora Agnes Purdue, 77, of Carbondale, formerly of Murphysboro, died this morning, Nov. 8, 1963, in Styrest Nursing Home in Carbondale.
Mrs. Purdue was a member of the Pentecostal Church in Murphysboro.
She was born April 4, 1906, in Union County, to Newton and Leona Belcher. She married William Leroy Purdue June 2, 1934, in Flint, Mich. He died Feb 18, 1963.
Survivors include three sisters, Alice Reeder of Carbondale, Nettie Vowels of Anna and Bertha Ussery of Ripley, Miss.; and several nieces and nephews.
Five brothers and two sisters preceded her in death.
