"BESSIE CANFIELD
"Funeral services for Mrs. Bessie C. Canfield, 93, of Milan, were held today (Tuesday) at the Moores Hill United Methodist Church with burial in Mt. Sinai Cemetery. Sibbett Funeral Home was in charge of services.
"Mrs. Canfield died Saturday at the Milan Health and Hospitality Center. She is survived by a daughter Mrs. Howard (Gail) Boone, Milan; three sisters, Mrs. Joyce Rawlins, and Miss Faye Grimsley, Moores Hill, and Beaulah Bruce, R.R. 2, Moores Hill; 1 brother, Perc Grimsley, Moores Hill; four grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren.
"The family suggests memorials be given to the church memorial fund."
