Kathrina married Adam Fey on May 29, 1855 in Marion County Ohio.

Kathrina and Adam are the parents of nine children:

Charles b. 1860 d. 1881
Catherine b. 1863
Earnest b. 1865
Adam b. 1868
Minnie b. 1870
John b. 1872
William b. 1876
Lucy b. 1879

Mrs. Adam Fie Sr. living, three miles south east of Hull and one of the early settlers of this region succumbed to the ravages of old age an Bright's disease and passed to world beyond, her children surrounding her bedside as she breathed her last on Thursday evening.

Mrs. Fie was born in Germany removing to this country when young and in company with her family removed to Sioux County in 1879 settling on the place where the family now resides. The funeral occurs from the home tomorrow at one o'clock.

The deceased leaves a husband and seven children; three daughters and four sons to mourn her loss all of whom are well known to our people.

The sympathy of the entire community will be with the aged husband and the bereaved children.
