Carol Holyoak Workman, 69, of Rexburg, died Monday, August 11, 2014 at her home from cancer. She was born December 10, 1944 in Burley, Idaho to Albert and Laurece Holyoak and was raised on a farm.

After attending Ricks College and Brigham Young University, receiving her teaching degree, she taught in elementary schools in Rexburg and Burley, Idaho and Blanding, Utah.

She was living in Brigham City, the mother of three children, when her husband, Dale Randall, died in 1977. On August 10,1979 she married Lee Workman and moved to Rexburg, Idaho.

She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served in various positions including Relief Society President, Primary President, 15 years in the Idaho Falls Temple, and as a missionary in Hong Kong with her husband, Lee Workman.

Her community activities include working for eight years in the BYU Idaho Financial Aid Office, serving as captain of the Sun Bonnet Camp of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers of Rexburg. She loved working in her yard and garden and enjoyed the fruits and vegetables she canned.

Carol is survived by her husband, Lee Workman of Rexburg and five children; Scott (Cheri) Workman of Riverton, Ut., Karen Workman of Salt Lake City, UT., Lana Cleverley of Idaho Falls, Idaho, Jason (Erica) Workman and Denise (Kevin) Murri both of Lehi, UT., two sisters; Janet (Hal) Stock of Orem, UT. and Marla (Cecil) Ricks of Rexburg and a brother; David (Kathryn) Holyoak of Naperville, Illinois and 18 grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, twin brothers; Gerald and Vernon Holyoak and husband, Dale Randall.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 14, 2014 at the Harvest Hills Ward Chapel. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. at the Flamm Funeral Home in Rexburg and Thursday at the church from 9:00 to 9:45 a.m. prior to services. Interment will be in the Brigham City Cemetery at 3:00 p.m..
