26 Sep 1985 - Services for Mrs. Lovie Mae Barron, 63, of Friendship, La, were held Thursday, September 19, at 2 p.m., at the Friendship Baptist Church, with the Rev. Robert Leach officiating. Burial was at Friendship Cemetery under the direction of Conger's Funeral Home of Arcadia.

Mrs. Barron died Tuesday, September 17, 1985, at 10 p.m., at the Schumpert Medical Center in Shreveport.

She is survived by her husband, Mr. William Edwin "W.E." Barron, Jr. of Friendship; one son, Charles E. Barron of Friendship; one brother, Stafford Ray Miller of Florien; four sisters, Mrs. Annie Mae Dukes of Florien, Mrs. Myrtie Mae Hopkins of Many, Mrs. Louise Bordelon of DeRidder, and Mrs. Clarice Dew of Many.

Pallbearers were Billy Lewis, Billy Hattaway, Billy Ray Culpepper, Sonny Robinson, Talton Barron, and Tim Andrews.

Honorary pallbearers were A.H. Allen, A.E. Barron, Malvin Hall, Joel Morgan, L.S. Pinckard, and Charles Reeves.
