Alfred Huit, a salesman of musical instruments, died of cancer Monday in his Portland home. He was 59.
Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Thursday in the Holman Mortuary, with internment in Heppner Cemetery, Heppner.
Mr. Huit was born in Portland, where he spent most of his life. He is survived by his wife, Irene; his mother, Elsie Huit of Portland; one son, Gary Huit of Idaho Falls, Idaho; one daughter, Dorothy Orvig of Milwaukie; one brother, Wesley S. Huit of Seattle; two sisters, Colleen Crawford of Cove and Maureen Kardell of Gladstone; and four grandchildren.
The family suggests rememberances be contributions to the American Cancer Society.
