Death: 20 March 1887, Salt Lake City, Salt Lake, Utah. Died in infancy of pneumonia while father (Joseph H. Dean) was imprisoned in Utah State Penitentiary for polygamy. Joseph never saw her and could not attend the funeral. She was buried secretly at night under an assumed name in a cemetry downtown SLC; however, was moved to the Dean plot in the SLC cemetery near Sally's baby girl Ethel on 17 May 1887.
