SYRACUSE -  Marlise Saige Hamblin (Marli) 15, passed away Sunday, August 10th from injuries sustained in a tragic accident. She joyously came to earth on October 16, 1998 to adoring parents Travis and Lisa Hamblin.

Marlise was named after her Grandma Marsha and her mother, Lisa. Saige became her middle name to honor her father because he had to miss the deer hunt that year and the glorious smell of the sagebrush.  Marli was always a "Daddy's Girl." Whenever she pushed things to the limit, she would always say,  “No worries, I'll still be Daddy's princess tomorrow!" Her best seat in the house was still on her father's
lap. Marli had the most beautiful contagious smile. Family and friends would flock around her to enjoy her zest for living.  We always knew where Marli was because we could hear her distinctive, high-pitched laugh several houses away! She had a special love for little children and they loved her in return. Wherever there was a baby, there was Marli. Marli had so many talents. She loved dancing, singing, cheering, tumbling and piano. It would be hard to say which one was her favorite because she excelled in all of them!

She was a member of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints and had developed a strong testimony of the gospel. Marli believed strongly in eternal families and had a tremendous love for her Savior. She had amazing Young Women leaders and had so much fun with the girls in her ward. She was blessed with such fantastic friends. Their good example and love helped her achieve her dreams!

Marli was proud of her healthy, strong body. She was "fit" from head to toe! It is with great honor that she was able to donate her organs for the benefit of others. This is the "miracle" that Marli would have wanted! May those blessed recipients have more time to spend with their precious families!

The Hamblin family would like to extend their most heartfelt thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff at the Ogden Regional Medical Center for their kindness in accommodating such a large family and friend support group. Also, the Syracuse Emergency Response Team and Police Department. Finally, Thank you for the many, many prayers in our behalf! We feel your love and your generous support, not one act of kindness has gone unnoticed! Thank you!

Marli played a beautiful song a week ago at her piano recital. It was called, "A River Flows In You" her love will continue to flow in us forever!

She is survived by her parents, Travis and Lisa Hamblin: her brothers, Braden (fiancé Haley Busby); Bridger and Brevin; and by a beautiful, loving sister, Janci. Her Grandparents; Vern and Marsha Williams; Ronald and Rochelle Hamblin, all of Syracuse and many, many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.
