Age 53, son of Bob and Jennie Piatek Agnew. He married Dodie Acker of January 22, 1977 at Linesville Presbyterian Church. He graduated from Linesville High School in 1970 and Edinboro University in 1974. For 30 years he worked at General Electric in Erie as a locomotive inspector. He was the Summit Township Supervisor for 21 years. Also, he was a partner in Double A Farm raising pigs and beef cattle. He was a member of the Harmonsburg Presbyterian Church. He coached the Summit Township girl's softball team for many years. He enjoyed farming, gardening, playing computer games, watching his daughters play in sports, going to produce auctions with his wife, watching and reading western movies and books.

Survivors include his wife of 29 years, Dodie Agnew; his parents, Bob and Jennie Agnew of Linesville, Pa.; five daughters Laura Agnew of Jamestown, NY and her fiance Isaac Habermehl, Anne Agnew, Rebekah Agnew, Grace Agnew, and Ruth Agnew all of Conneautville, Pa.; two brothers, Bill Agnew and his wife, Marty of Linesville, Pa., and Paul Agnew and his wife, Diane of Linesville, Pa.; a sister Mary Duderstadt and her husband, David of West Chester, Ohio; great-grandmother, Julia Hager of Meadville, Pa.; father and mother-in-laws, Jim and Germaine Warren of Meadville, Pa., and Arnold and Ida Mae Acker of Meadville, Pa.; brother-in-laws Ralph Acker and his friend, Judy Troy of Conneaut Lake, Pa., Scott Gustafson and his wife, Karen of Vestal, NY, and Larry Gustafson and his wife, Emily of Clymer, NY; sister-in-laws Kathy Gustafson and Karla Gustafson both of Monroeville, Pa.; his beloved dog, Bruno; and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
