Messrs. Dan and C. C. Perdue return'd Friday from a combined pleasure and business trip to Kansas. They brought home with them their oldest brother, H. C. Perdue, who is eighty-three years of age.

—Clerk P. M. Stacy and the other members of the insane commission were called to Liberty township Tuesday by the case of Mr. H. C. Perdue. Mr. Perdue was recently brought from Kansas to this place by his brothers on a visit. He is aged and in very poor health physically which led to mental derangement. He was adjudged insane but will be cared for by his brothers at present.

Daniel Perdue went to Bethel Chapel Sunday to be present at the funeral and burial of his oldest brother, H. C. Perdue. The deceased was eighty three years of age. Only three brothers now survive of a family of seven brothers. They are C. C. and Dan, of this county, and T. J. of Nebraska.

C. C. Perdue's aged brother departed this life Christmas morning and was laid to rest in Bethel cemetery Sunday after funeral at 11 o'clock conducted by Rev. Kephart. The bereaved relatives have the sympathy of this community.
