Graveside funeral services for Chereen Suzanne Muse, 47, will be held Thursday, Feb. 8 at the Big Pine Cemetery. The Rev. Karen Moore of the Big Pine United Methodist Church will officiate. Chereen, a 10-year resident of Benton, was born July 3, 1948 in Los Angeles, and died Feb. 5 at Eisenhower Medical Center in Rancho Mirage, California. She lived in Olancha and Big Pine for several years, then moved to Benton. While in Big Pine, she worked as an aide at the Big Pine Convalescent Hospital, then at Montgomery Pass before moving to Benton. She is survived by her husband, Don Muse of Benton, mother Doris Ferber of Lone Pine; father, Harvey Ferber of Rosamond; aunts June Bagwell and Dixie Sweger of Lone Pine; brothers Bailey McRoberts of Olancha, Terry McRoberts of Yreka, Calif., and Francis McRoberts of Ft. Jones, Calif. Interment will be at the family plot in the Big Pine Crocker Cemetery.
