Homa Frances Tubbesing (Tubbie) June 19, 1908 Feb. 20, 2006 Graveside services will be held in Greenlawn Memorial Park, 3700 River Blvd., Thursday, February 23rd at 1:00 p.m. for Homa Frances "Tubbie" Tubbesing, 97, of Bakersfield, who passed away February 20, 2006 in Bakersfield. Mrs. Tubbesing was born June 19, 1908 in Clinton, Missouri, and had been a resident of Kern County for 68 years. She retired from A.T.&T. after 29 years of service, had been a volunteer at San Joaquin Hospital for many years. She was involved in the original Mall Walkersí Group and was a member of the Pioneers Club. She is survived by her daughter, Bette Stinson of Bakersfield; son, Eugene Tubbesing and wife Dorothy of Fresno; grandsons, John Tubbesing and his wife Kathleen and great grandson Jonothan Tubbesing, of Bakersfield.
