Richard I. Montgomery, 69, Park Hills, died April 14, 2005, at St. Louis University Hospital. Born January 22, 1931, St. Louis, Mo.

Preceded in death by parents, Lee Jacob and Ethel Ellen Womble Montgomery and three sisters and two sons: Eric and David and stepson, Jerry Pitts.

Survivors: Wife, Norma Jean Burt Montgomery of Park Hills; children: Bruce Allen and wife, Vickie Montgomery, Jefferson City; Mitzi Mrs. Jerry Luecke, Westphalia; Dwane and wife, Kim Montgomery, Jefferson City, John Kenneth Moore, Bunker; Terry Gean Pitts, Leadington, Sherry Mrs. Jeff Mecey, Park Hills; 20 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; one brother, Vernon Montgomery, Middlebrook; two sisters: Ruby Clark; June Blankenship, Iron Mountain Lake.

Visitation 6:30 p.m. Monday at Horton-Wampler Funeral Home. Services 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Horton-Wampler Chapel with Rev. John Kee officiating. Burial at Adams Cemetery.
