Travis Black, 85, of Yosemite, died Friday, Nov. 1, 2013.

He was born July 25, 1928, in Humphrey, Ky., to the late Calvin Tad and Esther Garner Black. He was a lifelong farmer.
Survivors include one daughter, Brenda (Barry) Wooten of Hustonville; two sons, Gary (Karen) Black of Liberty and Greg (Stephanie) Black of Snellville, Ga.; four grandchildren, Jared and Jeffrey Wooten, and Bradley and Ryan Travis Black; six great-grandchildren, Journey, Jenasis, Levi and Laci Wooten, and Evan and Mason Tarter; and three siblings, Mildred Ross of California, Clara McQueen of Eubank and Sherrill Black of California.

He was preceded in death by one grandchild, Jennie Black Tarter; and one sister, Margie McCoy.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Greg Powell officiating. Burial will be in Durham Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jared and Jeffrey Wooten, and Brad and Ryan Black.

Visitation is 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
