Omer Taylor Branham, 79, of Leesville, La., died May 23, 2012.
He was born June 22, 1932, in Kentucky. He retired as a sergeant first class from the U.S. Army after 20 years' service.
Mr. Branham moved to Kempner in 1972 and worked as a carpenter for Yeske Builders. He then became a truck driver before moving to Aransas Pass for several years. He settled in Leesville in 1998.
He is survived by his wife, Su Branham of Leesville; daughters, Patty Branham Acker and husband of Lampasas, and SuAnn Barlass and husband of Shreveport, La.; a son, Paul Branham and wife of Lampasas; three granddaughters, Laci Welch, Randi Branham and Bradie Branham; and three grandsons, Clint Branham, Taylor Uhler and Kyle Barlass.
