DOROTHY F. CLIFTON STRUBHAR THOMAS

Dorothy F. Thomas, 71, a resident of Gibson City most of hr life and a homemaker, died at 6:20 a.m. Wednesday March 28, 1990 at Ford County Nursing Home, Paxton.

Her funeral was Saturday at Lamb Funeral Home, Gibson City, the Rev. Thomas Condron officiating. Burial was in Drummer Twp Cemetery, Gibson City. Visitation was Friday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Thomas was born October 9, 1918 at Gibson City, a daughter of James E. and Maggie Ashbrook Clifton. She married Earl Thomas in 1960 at Fountaintown, Ind. He died in 1965.

Survivors include one son, Fredric Strubhar, Urbana; one daughter, Joyce Schmidt, Brooksville, Fla.; three sisters, Letha Clifton and Ruth Baerlocher, both of Gibson City, and Bernadine Dean, Champaign; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

One brother and one sister preceded her in death.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
