William (Bill) Casteel, 79, of Terra Alta died Tuesday August 5, 2014 at Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown. The son of the late Jesse Oscar and Goldie Mae Miller Casteel, he was born August 7, 1934 in Cuzzart, WV. He was the owner/operator of Casteel's Excavating. He also worked at Terra Alta Limestone, Terra Alta State Road and Grafton Coal Company. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Betty Rodeheaver Casteel; three sons, Ralph Casteel, Jonathan "Bubby" Casteel and Justin Casteel, all of Terra Alta; four daughters, Joyce Cupp and Donna Cupp both of Terra Alta, Billie Jo Sigley of Rowlesburg and Heidi Huffman of Aurora; 27 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his five sisters, Bonnie Roberts, Izetta Martin, Ruby Frantz, Lucy and Nadine Casteel and one brother, Nelson Casteel. Family and friends will be received at the Arthur H. Wright Funeral Home, Terra Alta on Friday from 3-5 and 7-9 and from 11:00 on Saturday August 9, 2014 until the 1:00 p.m. time of service with Rev.
