An Acworth woman who was 4 1/2 months pregnant has died from injuries suffered in a traffic accident earlier this month.
Donna Michelle Holbrook, 19, of 54 Lake Drive, Acworth, was pronounced dead at North Fulton Medical Center on Thursday. Ms. Holbrook had suffered severe head injuries June 7 in a head-on collision on Georgia Highway 140 and was being kept alive by a respirator, according to Fulton County police.
The accident report states that Ms. Holbrook lost control of her car while rounding a curve on the two-lane road, crossed the center line and struck an oncoming car.
Donna was a talented girl that had so much going for her. I miss her dearly.
