Dolores Patricia Pasierb Shomper, 85, of Lower Paxton Township, died Tuesday August 11, 2015 at home.

She retired from AT&T as a telephone operator; was a life member of the VFW Post 1213; and was a member of Holy Name of Jesus Roman Catholic Church, Lower Paxton Township.

Dolores was born in the coal-mining city of Shamokin, PA., the ninth of ten daughters of the late Lukasz & Mary Juskoviak Pasierb

She was preceded in death by her husband Carl J. Shomper; her sisters Marie Scandle, Florence Laboskie, Clara Miner, Dorothy Jaffre, Theresa Albertini, Helen Shaffer, & Jean Collins

Dolores is survived by a son, Carl D Shomper of Green Bay, Wisconsin; 2 granddaughters, Jaime Manning of Etters PA & Kristen Campomizzi of Ft Lee VA; 3 great grandchildren, Kali & Gavin Manning & Alexandra Campomizzi; 2 sisters, Madalyn & Shirley Pasierb of Shamokin PA; numerous nieces & nephews.

At the request of Dolores there will be no viewing or services. There will be a small, private service at the gravesite.
