He came to Boise in June 1969, and was employed by the Ada County Sheriff's Department. He also attended Boise State College for a degree in criminology.
He was a member of the Baptist Church of Fowler, Calif., the YMCA Men's Club and the Mountain Search and Rescue Boise Unit.
Survivors included his wife, Mrs. Paula Baker Howell, whom he married August 7, 1965, in Aquadilla, Puerto Rico; a son, Travis Mark Howell, and a daughter, Tobi Michelle Howell, both at home; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Gordon R. Howell, King City, Calif.; a brother, Tom E. Howell, Fresno, Calif.; and his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Mark Anderson, Fowler, Calif.
Terrell's wife, Paula Sue (Baker) Howell-Egbert, is a gr-gr-gr-granddaughter of Dr. James & America Ford of Wabash, Indiana.
