Beulah Frances "MaMa" Bumbalough, 92, of Muncie, formerly of Losantville, passed away peacefully Wednesday, August 6, 2014 following a brief illness.

She was born October 22, 1921 in Sparta, Tennessee a daughter of the late Martin Luther Haney and Emma Jane (Hawkins) Haney.

Beulah married the love of her life, Huey Bumbalough, on December 25, 1939 and enjoyed being a homemaker and assisting her husband in the family businesses. Beulah was a member of the Fairlawn Church of Christ in Muncie and enjoyed reading, traveling and watching her soap operas.

She is survived by her children, Dorothy "Dottie" Jackson of Losantville, Dale Bumbalough of Albany, GA, Sandy Bookout and Doris Ellenburg both of Muncie; grandchildren, Debbie (husband: Tony) Miller of Farmland, Jay (wife: Angie) Pool of Losantville, Chad (wife: Donna) Lindsey of Losantville, Fran Brown, Kenny Bumbalough, Cindi (husband: Eddie) Boozer, Marie Spradley, Shelly (husband: Brent) Daugherty and Rita (husband: LaMar) Smith all of Georgia, Chris Bookout (fiancé: Amy Busby) of Alexandria, Melissa (husband: Eddie) Glaser of Mooreland, Nicole Ridenour (fiancé: Kevin Foulks) of Indianapolis and Amanda Ellenburg of Muncie; numerous great-grandchildren, several great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Beulah was preceded in death by her husband, Huey Bumbalough; a son, Huey Bumbalough Jr and several brothers and sisters.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 9, 2014 at Sproles Family Funeral Home with Rev. Albert Oren officiating. Burial will follow in Blountsville Cemetery.

Friends may call from 5 – 8 p.m. Friday and one hour prior to the funeral Saturday at the funeral home.
