Gwen Adams died at Eldora Nursing and Rehab Center. Services were held at the Biersborn Funeral Home. Rev. Rick Schill officiated. Memorials were directed to the Union Library.
She was the daughter of Charles and Anna Yenter Clemens and graduated from Union High School in 1934.
She married Elvin Adams in Webster City, Iowa on June 6, 1926. After they were married she lived in Eldora then in Minnesota for three years before moving back to Union. She spent the last 30 years of her life in Eldora as a homemaker.
Gwen was a member of the DAR, Historical Society of Hardin County, Urban Club, and Union Community Church.
Survivors include brothers Stanley and Gordon.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a sister, and two brothers.
