He was born Jan. 31, 1930, in Blue Ridge to Hugh and Bertha Nurse.
Surviving are two sons, Steven of Austin, Texas, and Thomas of Seattle; one daughter, Karen Wilcome of Millville, N.J.; and two brothers, Howard of Villa Park and John of Moline.
He was a telemarketer at Dimensions Research Lab in Peoria.
He was an Air Force veteran.
Burial will be in Blue Ridge Cemetery in rural Chillicothe.
