Humphrey Chadbourne's mother was Mary Parker (24 Aug 1804 in Reading, Middlesex, Massachusetts - 18 Sep 1831 in Boston, Suffolk, Massachusetts) the daughter of Samuel Parker of Wilmington, Middlesex, Massachusetts and Sarah G. of Salem, Essex, Massachusetts.
He worked at his father's store and sadly took his own life when he was only 48 years old. Some of his children started a new life in the Western United States.
He married Abigail Angela (or Angels) Reed (1832 – 1887) daughter of Lewis Reed and Mary L Reed. They had three children:
1) Mary Angela Chadbourne (Aug 1852 in Woburn, Middlesex, Massachusetts - 1929 in Denver, Arapahoe, Colorado) married Edwin McCrillis (Sep 1849 in New Hampshire - 1921 in Denver, Arapahoe, Colorado) the son of Nathanel McCrillis (1818 – 1892) and Martha W Roby (1860 – 1883). They had one son:
--> a) Ralph Waldo Mccrillis (5 Nov 1882 in Denver, Arapahoe, Colorado - Apr 1963 in Denver, Arapahoe, Colorado) who married Olivia Cook (1885 – 1928) and had three children: Lucile Mccrillis, Edwin Mccrillis, and Albert McCrillis (1922 – 1926).
