William E. Angstadt, 70, of Game Commission Rd, Reading R.D. 2, died Friday evening in the Reading Hospital and Medical Center, where he had been a patient since Wednesday.
Born in Oley, he was a son of the late Harry Q. and Mamie Z. (Saylor) Angstadt. He retired in 1973 from Dietrich Dairy, Inc.
Angstadt was a member of the Rosedale United Church of Christ, Laureldale, and the Goodwill Fire Company and Beneficial Association of Hyde Park.
Surviving are his wife, Agnes R. (Graeff) Angstadt, at home; a daughter, Ruth, wife of James M. Lantz, Emmaus; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and three sisters: Bessie, widow of William Bechtel, Laureldale; Marie, widow of Edward Muthard, Berks Heim; and Helena Angstadt, Laureldale.
Funeral services will be at the convenience of the family in the Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Laureldale, the Rev. Paul L. Rahn officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park.
