PRYOR, Edward J.

Edward J. Pryor, 135 East Albany Street, in his 83rd year, died late Friday night in Oswego Hospital after an illness of several weeks.

Born in Scriba, a son of the late Peter and Caroline Blair Pryor, Mr. Pryor spent the greater part of his life in Scriba. He was a teamster by occupation but for many years had been retired. He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church.

Surviving are his widow, Margaret McCready Pryor, two daughters, Mrs. Carl Rollins, Scriba, and Mrs. Bernard Goodrich, Oswego; four sons, Thomas E, William G, and Frank M Pryor, Oswego and Raymond E. Pryor, Buffalo; a brother Frank C Pryor, Scriba and one sister Mrs. Rose Mulcahey, Oswego; several grandchildren and several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Funeral will be held at the home of his son William G. Pryor, 139 East Albany Street, Monday afternoon at 1 o'clock. Rev. George E. Heck, pastor of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.
