Shirley M. Coe, 71, of Fort Wayne, a member of St. Jude Catholic Church, died Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2002, at Lutheran Hospital.

The Fort Wayne native was a former manager of the Sands Night Club. She was also a member of the Navy Club and Marine Corps League.

Surviving are her husband, Richard A.; daughters Sharon M. Babbitt of Clearwater, Fla., Julie A. Grider, Maureen L. Coleman, Susan Rohrs and Terri L. Gill, all of Fort Wayne, and Rhonda S. Delamarter of Leo; sisters Gayle Jackson of Carrollton, Texas, and Joan McQuade of Fort Wayne; eight grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

Services are 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Jude Catholic Church, East State and Randallia boulevards, with calling one hour before services. Calling is also from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at D.O. McComb & Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Ave. Burial will be at Highland Park Cemetery. Memorials are to the Marine Corps League.
