Bd. of Supervisors Honor Memory of Wm. S. Borthwick
The Greene County Board of Supervisors held their regular meeting on Monday night. All supervisors were present and unanimously approved the resolution submitted by Raymond Ingalls, supervisor from Durham in memory of William S. Borthwick.
In part the resolution reads: "The Town of Durham suffered a great loss in the death of William S. Borthwick. For more than a quarter of a century he was a wise counselor and trusted guide in all its important affairs. he has left a noble name for a clean life and clean in its aims, pure in public ways and private paths, full of useful labor and of duties well discharged and crowned with honor."
