"YOUNG MOTHER SUCCUMBS - Mrs. Phil Adamson of Near Lena Dies of Peritonitis Following Child-Birth
Bernice Adamson, aged 18 years, 9 months and 1 day, wife of Phil Adamson of near Lena, died last evening at 11 o'clock, in this city, of peritonitis, following the birth of a child five days ago.
Mrs. Adamson was a member of the Christian Church at Lena and was well known and highly respected. Her untimely death is a shock to the neighborhood. She is survived by the husband and an infant daughter. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. F.H. Borsh, who with one brother also survive her.
Funeral services will be held at 11 o'clock Thursday morning at the Christian Church at Lena."
