John Hymer, age 94 years, died at his home in Platte City, Mo., Wednesday morning. His remains were brought to Winchester yesterday morning and interred in the Wise cemetery. Mr. Hymer was a brother of Thomas Gardiner's wife, who lived here several years ago and were proprietors of the Winchester hotel. Mr. and Mrs. Gardiner died several years ago and are buried at Wise cemetery.
Mrs. Grace King, Mrs. Bell Babcock, Mrs. L. C. Biddle of Leavenworth and Frank Hymer of Platte City, Mo. accompanied the remains of John Hymer to Winchester last Thursday for burial.
